Description
OncoQuick® is an easy-to-use, rapid and efficient system for the enrichment of disseminated circulating tumour cells from human peripheral blood that has been developed in cooperation between Hexal Gentech and Greiner Bio-One. The system combines the advantages of the cell separation by density gradient centrifugation (rapid, reproducible, cost effective) with recovery rates that are comparable with immunobead methods. OncoQuick® consists of a sterile 50 ml polypropylene tube with a porous barrier inserted on top of the unique separation medium.
